Paul is recognised internationally for his talents as a vocal ‘troubleshooter’. His advice is frequently sought by agents, managers and television/record producers regarding the vocal health and development of a wide range of artists.

He has a keen interest in the mentoring of young voice teachers, to ensure that teaching methods incorporate up-to-date knowledge of vocal health and development. To this end, Paul regularly runs one-day courses in London and throughout Europe, aimed at voice teachers of all genres and teaching levels.

While teaching at Johan Sundberg’s ‘Function of the Singing Voice’ course in Sweden in July 2009, Paul was invited to embark on research projects, looking specifically at the opera and musical theatre ‘belt’ voices.

Although recognised as one of the world’s leading Estill Voice Training™practitioners, Paul firmly believes in a holistic approach to voice tuition, drawing on a range of techniques, including Alexander Technique, Pilates, yoga, to suit the individual needs of every singing student.
